He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Pisklak Holub and Vincent Holub; his wife Martha Vacek; and his siblings, Connelly Patrick and Colette Paver.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Holub Conlan of Austin; his grandson Christopher Paul Holub Conlan (Caitlin Paver Conlan) of Dallas, Texas.; and his sister-in-law Margaret Vacek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
