It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erminia Rosales Guia of Bay City, Texas, born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Rosales Sanchez and Brihido Sanchez (Crisanto Guia); her children, Anthony Guia, Rose Navarro and Diane Guia Cruz; her children-in-law, Juanita Guia and Luis Gomez; and her grandchildren, Norma Rosales, Nasario Cruz, Jr. and Pedro Guia, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Pedro Guia, Sr. and Mary Gomez; her grandchildren, Lupe Collins (Mario Escamilla), Cris Cruz, Sonia, Herman Cruz, Molly, Robert Crus, Mary Lou, Fernando Cruz, Jr., Rita, Jo Ann Lule, Anthony Guia, Anita Cruz, Mary Garcia, Sergio, Sr., Theresa Meza, Mike, Fernando Cruz, Laura Trevino, Lionel and Celestiano Gonzales, Jr.; and her siblings, Mena (Nick), Maria (Manuel), Emilia S. Gauna and Juan Soliz Jr.. She is also survived by 41 great grandchildren and 51 great-great grandchildren.
