Donna Lou Harrison Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Lou Harrison of Bay City, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bettie Lou and Leonard Herff Cornelius; her former life partner Robert E. Hovel, Jr.; and her sister Mary "Nuala" Brown. She is survived by : her husband George Richard Harrison; her daughter Jennifer Hovel Ligums (Jeb); her grandchildren, Jet and George; her son Robert E. Hovel III (Tania); and her siblings, Debbie Reed (Bob), Amy McLeod (Mack), Bonnie Elbel (David), Melody Sanders (Ken), Brenda Rider (Bill), Connie Coney (Jeff) and Leonard Herff Cornelius, Jr. (Nancy). She is also survived by Her 31 nephews and nieces and their spouses, 61 and counting great nephews and nieces and an uncountable number of cousins and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Matagorda County Fair and Livestock Association with the memo notation.
