It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Lou Matura (Bay City, Texas), who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Matura; her parents, Lewis Newsom and Dale Hicks; and her son James Clayton Goodman. She is survived by: her children, George P Goodman and Marci Lynette Merecka (Gary); and her grandchildren, James Paul Goodman, Aaron David Goodman, Eric Troy Weigt Jr., Zachary Dylon Weigt, Andrew Paul Weigt and Jordan James Weigt. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
