She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hubert and Carrie Ethel Legg; her husband Richard Armstrong Suffling; her siblings, Richard Legg, Albert Legg, Luster Legg, Neva Legg Myers and Margie Legg Quinn; her nephews, Rex Quinn Jr., Doug Myers and David Cartwright; and her great-nephew John Scott Crab.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Frances Suffling of La Porte and William Richard Suffling of League City; her sister Norma Legg Cartwright McDonald of Bay City; her nieces and nephews, Gary Cartwright, Dick Quinn, John R. Myers, Lynda Couch, Suzi Fleetwood and Barbara Crabb; her pets, Calvin, Marlie, Sabrina, Rylie and Destiny Joye Suffling; and also, Cindy, Robert, Elijah, Isaiah and Juni Lopez of Bay City, Texas..
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Bay City, Texas Radio Ministry, First Baptist Church of Bay City, Texas Youth Ministry, and the Texas Baptist Encampment in Palacios, Texas (through First Baptist Church of Bay City).
