It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie E. Barrett Fontenot (Batson, Texas), who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrester Barrett (Johnnie Brandon) and Liberty Route; her husband Lawrence Fontenot; her sisters, Geraldine Glover, Bernice Dagle, Pat Sims and Faye Colvin; and her grandchild Jody Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Nichols (Ed), Larry Fontenot (Gaye) and Lamar Fontenot (Shiela); her sisters, Judy Martin, Lois Fregia and Peggy Taylor; and her grandchildren, April Wilson (Odie), Mona Vincent (Tim), Corky Windham (Nikki), Wendy Bechtel (Mark), Mandy Stewart (Drew), Kaci Walters (Josh), Landon Fontenot, Leslie Fontenot (Alisha) and Mike Bouchard. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
