He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Martinez and Concepcion Martinez (Alcala); his siblings, Consuelo Leal, Leocario Martinez and Margarito Martinez; and his parents-in-law, Pablo Canales Jr., Lupe Hernandez, Maria Martinez and Alfredo Leal.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dimas Canales of Batesville, May Hernandez of La Pryor, Vicente Martinez of Batesville, Antonio Martinez (Maria Alicia) of Carrizo Springs and Jose Alfredo Martinez of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
