She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Fichtner and Gertrude "Katie" Fichtner (Goldsmith); her siblings, Arlyn Sorce, Judy Schutte, Darla Benz and Dick Fichtner; and her niece Lisa Sorce.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Laker of Enochsburg; her children, Matt (Lisa), Marc (Deidre), Amanda Rosenberger (Dan) of Brookville and Andrew "Butch" (Kat); her siblings, Dan Fichtner of Batesville and Mary Mays of Batesville; and her grandchildren, Butch, Cheyenne, Addison, Lydia and Grant. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
