She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Fichtner and G. Kathryn Goldsmith Fichtner; her husband Hugh Benz; her siblings, Arlyn Sorce, Judith Schutte and Richard "Dick" Fichtner; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Mays, Jim Miller and Joan Doerflinger.
She is survived by: her children, German, Braven, Snowball and Cody; her siblings, Daniel Fichtner of Batesville, Ella Laker (Daniel) of Enochsburg and Mary Mays of Batesville; and her siblings-in-law, Myra Miller of Mesa, AZ and Denny Doerflinger of Greensburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
