It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecilio Herrera of Batesville, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Herrera and Clemencia Vasquez. He is survived by: his children, Jose Nicolas Herrera of La Pryor, Ramiro Herrera of Uvalde, San Juana Troche of Batesville, Cecilia Garcia of California, Camila Herrera of Batesville, Maria Angelica Garcia of Uvalde and Manuela Avila of San Antonio. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, no Vigil is being held and the Herrera family will be reciting the Holy Rosary on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 7:00 P. M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
