He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Simmons and Mavis Simmons; his wife Flora Dean Thieleman; his child Later; his friend Aggies; his children, Robert Wyatt Simmons IV (Erin), William Ryan Simmons (Meghann), Emily Creed (Brian) and Ellen Stobaugh (Chance); his grandchildren, Jillian, Ayden, Corbin, Emrys, Carter, Emma, Clark, Sawyer and Ruth; his sisters, SueAnn Lockard, Margaret Gibson (Mike), Linda Neinast (Bobby), Sharon Hornfischer and Joy Elise Simmons; and his brothers-in-law, Marc Lockard and James D Hornfischer. He was also cherished by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
