He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clemons (Bob) and Ella Clemons (Veal); his son Eric Clemons; and his siblings, Rose Maiden, Robert, Charles, Bobby, Henry, Hillard, Willie and Sammie.

He is survived by: his wife Debra Clemons; his daughter Kimberly Clemons; his grandson DeShon Clemons of Round Rock, Texas.; and his siblings, Ruthie Jackson of Los Angeles, California, Katherine Thompson (Williams) of Inglewood and Tommy Clemons (Deborah) of Bastrop. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
