She was predeceased by: her husband Robert C. Pace II; her sister Jeanne Johnson Freeman; her nephew Shay Shafie (Buffy); and her great-nephew Garrett McKinney. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Sarah Pace Caire (John); her stepgrandchildren, Matthew (Megan), Jessica Valle (Arnold), Neal Caire (Catherine) and Gregory Caire; her brother John Johnson; her niece Sherene Mayner (Chris); and her nephew Shad Shafie (Delaine).
