He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Brownson Duffield and Josephine Walter Duffield; his stepmother Elizabeth Duffield; his wife Sharon Duffield; his brother Guy Duffield (Nancy); his stepsiblings, Robert Peter Vliet and Polly Learned; and his brother-in-law Charles Whitelaw.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Jo Hurwitz (David) of Thorndale, Bethany Daniel (Alan), Wade Gonsoulin of Germany and Bryan Gonsoulin (Jennifer) of The Woodlands; his grandchildren, Savannah Gonsoulin of Ohio, Sydney Willett of San Antonio, Danielle Willett of Galveston, Trey Organ of Taylor, Kristen Willett of San Antonio, Audry Organ of Taylor, Katelynn Ashmore of The Woodlands, Connor Ashmore of The Woodlands and Isabelle Ashmore of The Woodlands; and his sister Anne Whitelaw (Charles) of Michigan.
