It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Franklin Solomon of Bastrop, Texas, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Solomon and Mary Solomon; and his sibling Flo Solomon. He is survived by: his children, James A. Solomon of Waller Texas, Tim Solomon (Twila) of Crosby, Ginger Yocom (Steve Yocom) of Paige and Penny Scott (Don Scott) of Rosanky Texas; his grandchildren, Shane Fleming, Amber Mayfield of Crishawn Costa, T. J, Megan Forrest, Jonathan Yocom and Jessica Lockhart; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Mayfield of Amaya Mayfield, A. J, Masie Costa, Emma Forrest, Tanner Forrest, Luke Forrest, Curtis Yocom, Levi Yocom, Riley Yocom, Bailey Lockhart, Emily Mae Lockhart and Cameron Fleming.
