He was predeceased by: his parents, Volney H. Boon and Evelyn M. Boon; and his siblings, John Earl Boon and Joan Boon King. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean Mitchell; his children, Karen Montgomery of Santa Fe, NM, Sharon Bordenave of Lablachère, France, Michael J. Boon of Kyle, TX, Belinda Boon of Akron, OH and Rebecca G. Boon of Santa Fe, NM; his grandchildren, Jeremy Boon-Bordenave of New York, NY, Soncire L. Boon of Buda, TX and Cody L. M. Boon of San Antonio, TX; and his great grandchildren, Lilliana Boon, Alessandra Boon, Jett Boon, Henry Boon-Bordenave and James Boon-Bordenave.
