She was predeceased by: her parents, Deo Blakely of Levelland, Texas and Bonnie Blakely; her husband Oliver Lewis Shirley Jr. of Bastrop, Texas; and her siblings, Pam Sizemore of Beeville, Charlene Allen of Thoreau and Donnie Blakely of Levelland, Texas..
She is survived by: her sister Irene Bowman of Bastrop, Texas; and her children, Oliver Lewis Shirley III (Carol) of San Diego, Steven Shirley (Donna) of Garland, Jeffrey Shirley (Sara) of Newnan, Georgia and Rhonda Williams (Tracy) of Bastrop, Texas. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (140 Tahitian Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602). The inurnment will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
