She was predeceased by: her parents, Roxabelle "Roxie" Mae Andrus (Clark) and Wayne Andrus. She is survived by: her husband Frans Hakkesteeg; her children, Joseph Bailey of Thornton, Colorado and Karen Thornton of Oak Hill, Virginia; her sisters, Judy Leib of Streator, Illinois and Rebecca Dowdy (Ken Dowdy) of Bastrop, Texas; her uncle Arlee Andrus (Jo Andrus) of Lansing, Michigan.; her mother-in-law Ariaantje Hakkesteeg-Verheij of Holland; her sisters-in-law, Elly Hakkesteeg (Adrie Dijkhuizen) of Holland and Ria Hakkesteeg of Holland; and her children-in-law, Ross Hakkesteeg, Chloe Hakkesteeg (Alex Escher) and Victoria Hakkesteeg. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Audio/Visual Ministry of Rosanky Baptist Church.
