He is survived by: his children, Rosa Ofelia Monzon (Julio Cesar), Antonio Fonseca (Laura), Jesus Martinez and Simona Pacheco; his son-in-law Mario Pacheco; his child Cruz Marie Mercado (Elijah Vincente); his grandchildren, Maria, Victor, Anna Margarita, Julio, Iris, Estoben, Melinda, Savannah, Fernanda, Antonio, Lily Alex, Azariah, Angelina and Aubree; his great grandchildren, Victor Jr. of Alana, DJ and Renee; his siblings, Jesus Martinez and Gloria I. Martinez; his parents, Jesus Martinez-Hernandez and Josefa Vasquez Ortega; his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Ofelia, Jose, Eudelia, Apolinar and Enedelia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home (2079 TX-71, Bastrop, TX 78602). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Catholic Church (804 Pine St, Bastrop, TX 78602). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Alta Vista Cemetery (1800 South St, Bastrop, TX 78602).
