He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. McDonald Sr. and Arlene Patterson McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shey McDonald of San Antonio; his children, Elaine (James Petralli), Lindsey (Daniel McKinney) and Andrew (Annie); his grandchildren, June Petralli, Sam Petralli, Georgia McDonald and McKinney; his sister Janice Hall (Charlie); and his nephew Stephen Clarke.
