She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Mae Jackson and Jack Nichols; her brothers, Johnnie McKissic and Jack Nichols Jr.; and her aunts and uncles, Myrtle Clewis, Verdie Jackson, Boyd Jackson, Rosco Jackson, Leola Austin and Orell Austin.

She is survived by: her children, Nicole Forrester-Macy (Ron Macy) and Jarod Forrester; and her grandsons, Brody Macy and Dylan Macy.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the McKinney Roughs Nature Park "wildflower Hall" (1884 State Hwy 71, Cedar Creek, TX 78612). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
