He is survived by: his wife Ruth Froehlich Spooner; his sons, David Spooner (Peggy) of Portland, TX and William Spooner (Gina) of Bastrop, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew Spooner (Kaci) of San Antonio, TX, Monica Spooner of Spring Branch, TX, Ashley Spooner Cox (Dalton) of College Station, TX and Christopher Spooner (Rebecca) of Bastrop, TX; and his great grandchild Holden.
