He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Vaughan; and his children, Elizabeth Gonzales, Linda Ortega, Mary Lopez (Chris), Jessica Torres (David), Daniel Gonzales (Elizabeth), Samuel Gonzales (Felicia) and Anthony Gonzales. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
