He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Lee and Martha Lawson (Cothran); his wife Helen Lawson of Bartlett; his children, Gary Bruce Lawson Jr. and Michelle of Buckholts; and his siblings, Matthew Lawson of Davilla, Christopher of Ohio, J. D. Lawson of Ohio, Sandra Davila of Davilla, Katherine Lawson of Davilla, Mary Reyna of Granger, Pansy Spellacy of Morro Bay, CA, Diane Plough of Holland and Amanda Lawson of Holland. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
