He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Burton "L. B." Fields and Ophelia Fields; his wife Jane Fields; his sister Lorena "Rene" Crosthwait; his siblings-in-law, Paul Crosthwait and Darlene Fields; his nephew Weldon Fields; and his great-nephew Clint Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Fields (Sarah) and Kathy Fields Crumley (Craig); his former wife Evelyn Annie Fletcher Fields of Archer City; his grandchildren, Carol Ann Crumley Lucky (Cameron), Kyle Crumley and Fletcher Fields (Grace); his great grandchildren, Hayes, Brandt, Hollis Lucky and Presley Fields; and his brother Wilson A. "Pete" Fields. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
