She was predeceased by: her husband Felix Garcia; and her son Ira Clayton Allen. She is survived by: her children, Jerry "JD" Allen, Stacey "Trampus" (Cindy Allen) and Sandra Summers (Randy); her stepdaughter Felicia Garcia; and her grandchildren, Tazia, Mandi, Stevie and Kimberly. She is also survived by 11 siblings; 11 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
