It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Higginbotham of Bangs, Texas, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Groat and Helen Groat; her husband Bud Higginbotham; her sisters, Marilyn Valouche and Kathryn Watson; and her children, Britt Daniel and Kristi Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Drisdale (Tommy) of Denton, Blane Daniel (Patti) of Bangs and Kam Gibson (Robert) of Early. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
