Faye Purcell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Purcell of Bangs, Texas, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Vera West and William Noah Dykes; her husband Homer Purcell; her grandson Scotty Purcell; her son-in-law Thomas Chrane, Sr.; and her siblings, Donald Dykes, Tommy Dykes, Bobby Dykes, Betty Dykes Duncan and Mary Dykes Dooley.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Chrane, Vickie Childress (Waymon), Johnny Purcell (Kim) and Jeannie Hubbard (Charles); her grandchildren, Brenda Michael (Wes), Rebekah Bianco, Tommy Chrane (Mandy), Lydia Huggins, Corrie Childress, Joanna Childress, Beth Childress, Katie Childress, Theo Childress, Gidget McCrary (Dusty), Dawn Massey (Chad), Jesse Knight (Misti), Austin Hubbard (Shylee) and Amelia McGinty (Nathan); and her sister-in-law Pat Allen. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to Concord Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
