He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Parnell and Vera Parnell; his siblings, Joyce Massey, Kama Jo Schermerhorn and Denson Parnell; his close friend Ray Barnes; and his stepchildren, Rick MacDonald and Lisa Jean MacDonald Moy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Parnell of Bangs; his daughter Tracey Greenwood (Jerry) of Bangs; his grandchildren, Mark Greenwood of Austin, Jessica (Kory Malcolm) of Weatherford and Don Leland Greenwood (Katie) of Fort Worth; and his stepchildren, Tom MacDonald (Deb) of Norfolk, Virginia, Greg MacDonald (Letisia) of Bangs and Kathy Harper of Houston. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
