It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Juanita Blake Greenwood of Bangs, Texas, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Ellis and Johnny Ellis; her husband A. Blake (Red); her son Kenneth Blake; her siblings, Billie Freels, Pat Nipp and Alan Ellis; and her close friend Jerry Greenwood.
She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth "Sally" Lightfoot; her daughters, Patricia Cathey (Graham), Martha Horn and Cathey McKamey (David); and her grandchildren, Becky Connally (Kelly), Angela James (Mark), Ashely Linder (Roman), Steffen McKamey and Brett McKamey. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
