She was predeceased by: her parents, Dollie Hay Kell of Illinois and Thomas P. Kell of Illinois; her siblings, Willi, Carole, Thomas and James Patrick Kell (Jimmy Pat); her son-in-law Johnny Johnson; and her grandson John Johnson.
She is survived by: her son John Charles Patrick Chapman of Los Alamos, NM; her daughter-in-law Jana; her grandson Joshua; her daughter Amanda Jean Chapman Johnson of Bandera; her grandchildren, Jean and Alex; her son David Andrew Kell Chapman of Kerrville; her grandchildren, Brittain and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Conner, Chloe and Avery; her daughter Anne Elizabeth Chapman Shackelford of Bandera; her son-in-law Trey; her granddaughter Taylor Ely; her grandson-in-law Ben Ely; and her grandsons, Aaron and Benjamin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and many dear friends.
