He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Valdez and Beatriz Fuentes Valdez; and his brothers, Carlos Mario Valdez, Joe Valdez and Emeterio Valdez.
He is survived by: his spouse Diamantina Gomez Valdez (Tina); and his children, Aurora Betancourt, Kristina Diane Rodriguez, Oscar Fabian Valdez, Cynthia Valdez D'Spain and Victoria Elena Camacho. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous extended family members and many treasured friends.
