He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopoldo and Oralia; and his sisters, Gloria Miller (Richard), Yolanda Ramos (Jesse) and Anna Pineda (Leo).
He is survived by: his wife Ava Anita Duennenberg; his son Michael Cervantes (Tanner); his siblings, Edna Cervantes and Leopoldo Cervantes (Isabel); his grandchildren, Samantha Cervantes, Isabella Cervantes and Evelyn Cervantes; his nieces and nephews, Sondra Nicholson (Bret), Paul Miller (Jill), Dee Anna Arredondo (Junior), Stefan Ramirez (Bomi), Gina Tarin (Eli), Anthony Cervantes (Jackie), Eric Cervantes (Robyn) and Pedro Pineda; and his brother Seco Mayfield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
