She is survived by: her spouse Aubrey H. "Red" Smith; her sons, James Knowlton Smith (Nesha) of Houston and Michael Aubrey Smith of Corpus Christi; her brother Kevin Knowlton Dodge of Houston; and her grandchildren, Matthew Knowlton Smith and William Edward Smith.
