He is survived by: his spouse Linda Foegelle; his children, David Barnet (Michelle), Gene Barnet (Kerrie) and Leah Short (Joe Brad); his siblings, Jerry Barnet of Utopia, Albert Barnet of Livingston and Esther Sorter of New Caney; and his grandchildren, Christopher Barnet, Brandon Barnet, Bryson Barnet, Jacob Barnet, Charles Barnet, Joseph Clay Short, Ian Short, Dustin Dees and Myrissa Dees. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
