“I am heartbroken to learn of sweet Bernadette’s passing only a short two years after her death. Don’t know why it has to be so difficult finding our childhood friends unless or until there’s an obituary :( Bernadette’s parents and siblings lived next door to my family in Houston: Parents Bob & Barbara Barnes with sisters Teresa and Karen. We spent many hours jumping rope, hopscotch and playing beauty parlor. I can still remember Mrs Ortiz calling her children home for dinner. Such a sweet family”
