He was predeceased by: his parents, Bettie Chambliss (Campbell) and Neal Chambliss; his siblings, Jerry Chambliss and Cecelia Schwertner Heeter; and his great grandchildren, Charlee Shay Fenwick and Elizabeth Jean Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Helen "Sue" Miles; his brother Richard Chambliss; his children, Tommy Chambliss, Jr. (Jody), Terry Chambliss (Lois), Tammy Fenwick (Rodney Joe), Traci Cartwright (Charles), Mary Hollis (Sargent) and William Luke Bennefield (Billy); his grandchildren, JJ, Terry Don, Bettie Jo, Ted, Misty, Aydan, Noah, Ethan, Victoria, Joshua, Timothy, David and Christina; and his great grandchildren, Deklyn, Obadiah, Olivia, Braxton, Bryce, Joyanna, Tommy, Aria, Kase, Taytom and Capri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Special Olympics in Tommy's honor.
