He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Whitlock and Mary Alvina Whitlock (McDaniel); his brother Donald Whitlock; and his son Carlton Whitlock. He is survived by: his wife Sue Manning; his children, Doyle Whitlock of Miles and Pamela Whitlock of Miles; his sister Patsy Geeslin of Ballinger; his stepchildren, Diane Thomerson of Harriet, James Manning (Andra) of Paradise and Dorie Lowrence (Gaylen) of San Angelo; and his grandchildren, Anthony Switalski (Amanda) of Schertz, Ben Rainwater (Shelby) of San Antonio, Diane Fitzgerald of Flower Mound, Anthony Whitlock of San Antonio and Shelby Whitlock of Fairoaks, CA.. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
