It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Quirino Escobar of Ballinger, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Escobar and Erlinda Escobar (Quirino); his wife Janie Mendez; and his siblings, Juan, Richard Escobar and Elvira Fuentes.
He is survived by: his children, John L Escobar (Norma) of Ballinger, Robert Escobar Jr. (Belinda) of Rowena, Sarah Esquivel (David) of Ballinger, Gina Esquivel (Harvey) of Ballinger, Martin Escobar (Rebecca) of Carthage and Greg Escobar of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; and his close friend Rocky II. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society in Robert's honor.
