She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Orel Tankersley and Aletha Mae "Ty" Faught Tankersley; her daughter Cathy; and her brother Max. She is survived by: her daughter Robyn (Michael Lockett); her grandson John Ledford (Ambry); and her siblings, Neil, Gary (Diana), Annie Pruitt, Cynthia McCammon (Mike) and Susie Kingston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to charities or causes of choice, a gift to someone in need, or simply share a smile with a stranger along the path.
