She was predeceased by: her parents, Estes McCain Lynn and Armour McGregor Lynn; her husband Billy C. Sykes; her daughter Alison Sykes; her daughter-in-law Deborah D. Sykes; and her siblings, Dr. Jack Lynn, Clara Beth Black and Cordelia Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted Sykes of Houston and Tom Sykes of Granbury; her grandchildren, Tanner Sykes (Jennifer) of Houston, Leslie Pair (Jeff Pair) of Glen Rose, Zach Nichols of Houston, Brighton Ahmed of Woodbury and Audrey Sykes of Houston; and her great grandchildren, Luke McCain Sykes, Sawyer Sykes, Jill Pair, John Stryker Pair, Cade Sykes and Luna Sykes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
