She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Medallin and Santiaga Medallin (Orona); and her husband Juan Gonzales, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Laura Vancil; her granddaughters, Anna, Isabella and Dixie; her son Anthony Chavez; her grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Angelica and Michelle; her great grandchildren, Chris, Elijah, Jacobi and Naveah; and her close friend Rachel Mitchell.
