She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Schwertner (Kruppa) and Adolph Schwertner; her husband George Franklin Wheeler; and her son Robert Wayne Wheeler. She is survived by: her children, Charles Raymond, Steven Royce, Michael Coy, Carolyn Sue, Debra Lynn and Teresa Michelle. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Margarite's honor.
