She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Ruby Peterson (King) and Claude Peterson; her husband Randy Herrington; her former husband James Carol Murphy; and her siblings, Jean Daly, Johnny and George Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Murphy (Silvia) of Corpus Christi, Melody Kerley (Rick) of Moody and Jimmy Murphy of Ballinger; her grandchildren, James Ryan Murphy, Erica Francis, Catarina Murphy, Kimberly Ben Tackitt, Kayleigh and Zack Nanney; her great grandchildren, Hudson Nanney, Beau Nanney of Joseph Timberman, J. D, Killian Tackitt, Zaylen Tackitt and Bryan Tackitt; and her siblings, Marian Black, Cleo Haler, Eric Peterson, Laurie Bennett, Sunny Peterson and Pia Parrish.
