She was predeceased by: her mother Jo Anne Freeman (Curbo); her daughter Christie Michelle Gully; her parents-in-law, Bernice and Harvey Gully; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Freeman.

She is survived by: her father T. A. Freeman; her husband Jerome Gully; her daughters, Beverly Kiker of Granbury and Kim Weidner (Rusty) of San Angelo; her grandchildren, Rankin, Zack (Daylee), Tiffeney, Jordan and Trevor; her great grandchild Kolby; and her siblings, Janie, Kathy, Laura, Gail and Darrell.

Kay married Jerome Gully, the love of her life, her rock, and her foundation on January 13, 1973, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena, Texas.
