He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Stephenson and Carmon Stephenson (Moore); and his brothers, E. H. Stephenson and Welton Stephenson. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Whitehead; his children, Scott Stephenson of Burleson, Texas and Kim Shephard (Rod) of Mansfield; and his grandchildren, Christian Shephard and Brandon Shephard of Mansfield.
