It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Smith (Ballinger, Texas), who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Cowlishaw and Marie Killingsworth; her husband Clovis Vernon Smith; and her siblings, Tom Cowlishaw, Betty Moser and Judy Lippe.
She is survived by: her children, Debra (Alan Watts) of Ballinger, Larry (Sharon Smith) of Ballinger, Cynthia (Lyndon Preas) of San Angelo and Edwin (Lara Smith) of San Angelo; her grandchildren, Jeremy Watts, Amanda Preas Hofer, Marshall Preas, Krystal Smith Ostdiek and Emily Smith Vlcek; her great grandchildren, Aerial Watts, Emma, John Hofer, Harper, Thomas Preas and Kylee Ostdiek; her siblings, Jim (Betty Cowlishaw), Ruby (Charles Wearden) and Martha (Charles Carter); and her siblings-in-law, Sue Cowlishaw Gillar and Fred Lippe. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
