With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elroy Moore (Ballinger, Texas), born in Fort Worth, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moore and Lucille Moore (Williams); and his brothers, James Edward Moore, Frankie Moore, Lawrence Moore and Leroy Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Jene Jackson; his son Todd Moore; his granddaughters, Brittany Garza, Taylor Moore and Faith Moore; his daughter-in-law Jenifer Moore of San Angelo; and his extended family, Gerome Williams, Roberta Sue Williams, Carmailita Moore, Andre Moore, Orlando Moore, Lena Moore and Juanita Moore.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2101 Hutchings Ave, Ballinger, TX 76821).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting Elroy's generous heart and commitment to helping others.
