He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fermin, Sr. Escobar and Jessie "Chita" Escobar (Flores); his wife Teresa of Ballinger; his children, James Escobar (Jennifer) of Portland, Dana Escobar of Ballinger and Jessica Rodriquez of Lubbock; his siblings, Eloisa Lopez of Ballinger, Josie Gomez (Bobby) of Ballinger, Gloria Lopez of Joliet, Janie Escobar (Mana) of Abilene, Fermin Escobar, Jr. of Abilene, Joe Escobar (Mickie) of Abilene, Alexander Escobar of Amarillo, Fred Escobar of San Antonio, Raul Escobar of Hutto and Sammy Escobar of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Carissa, Ada, Marissa, Ray, Delaney, Desiree and Destiny.
