With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Henry Frey of Ballinger, Texas, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Frey and Mary Gully Frey; his parents-in-law, Felix and Helen Matthiesen; his brother Clifford Frey (Barbara); and his niece Lindsay McCutchen.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Matthiesen; his daughter Jill; his son-in-law Owen Davenport of Dallas; his grandchildren, Charlie, Jack and Maddie; his daughter Alisha; his brothers, Will Frey (Rita) of Fredonia, Rodney (Tamra) of Mason and Doug (Kathy) of Robert Lee; his nephews, Jody (Christy) and Marty Frey (Leslie); his sisters, Janie Lange (James) of Wall, Carolyn Williams (John) of Waco and Debbie Lytle (John) of Durango, CO.; his friends, Joe Dankworth and Bud Halfmann; and also, Jaden Winfrey of Brock, Waylon, Wyatt and Weston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
